For You Card with Cheryl Walker

1:30 AM 0 Comments
Hello crafty friends and Happy Thursday to you all! Cheryl here with a sweet card created for Cheery Lynn Designs using the darling Cats.  I LOVE their tails and how they make a heart shape around the sentiment. Also used several other Cheery Lynn dies, and I will list them below for you.

On my card I started by cutting out both the cats in 2 different design papers, then used perfect pearls over them both to give some glitz to both kitties.  Next I added a sweet little flower to the left one, and it's from the Tiny Flower Kit die. I also made up the flowers from the same die using pink paper, used perfect pearls to them, and added a viva pearl dot to the center of each. The greenery was distressed with green ink and then colored with perfect pearls green.  Then I added the branches using the wreath strip.

The brown frame is from the Mirror Mirror Doily Frame, and then the white was also cut using the same die set. I distressed the white one with pink ink.

Laurie here from Stamping Up North
Today I have some cards I made with Cheery Lynn's Cozy Kitchen die set. This set is really versatile..it has an apron, a stove AND a mixer. I love to bake, so this set is right up my alley! I couldn't wait to break it open and make some cards.

Cheery Lynn Designs - Cozy Kitchen Die Set - 13 Die Set - B941

I cut out some aprons, mitts, spoons and a mixer. For my first card, I stamped my sentiment on a stitched rectangle and colored it with Copics. Then I added the mixer and spoons, and a few enamel dots.

Best Wishes by Jenny Alia

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi friends, I'm back today with a bridal shower card.  It's that time of year again.  I like doing white on white cards, or really cream on white cards for weddings.  I added in a soft blue on this card and I liked the soft look of the color comination.

The umbrella is raised higher.  I almost always add a little dimension on cards.  Best wishes was cut out of the same blue paper used in the background layer.  The cream card stock has a shimmer to it that doesn't seem to be showing up in the photos.  It adds a little sophistication.

A Birthday Recipe by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 1 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn Fans, it’s JULIE here and today I have been having fun with the cute Cozy Kitchen Die set from our new Retro release on my Birthday Card.

I started by matting and layering my base layers together, tattering the edges of my Stitched Stackers and adding some accents of lace for a vintage feel, gluing in place with foam strips for dimension.

My sentiment has been stamped onto patterned Maja Design paper and I paper pieced sections of my Doily to form a frame. Adding some die cut buttons which have a little thread in the centres.

My apron I added a touch of coordinating lace around the hem and a little Silicone Glue in the pocket to help give dimension and placed the mixing spoons in it. My food mixer I added a cute little heart that can also be placed onto the apron.

Patriotic Floral Note Card with Bonnie Garby

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi Cheery Lynn fans.  Bonnie here from Make Time to Craft today with a pretty Patriotic Floral Note Card I created using pretty dies from Cheery Lynn Designs along with ribbon from the May Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The Floral Bouquet Kit die set from Cheery Lynn Designs is so versatile that I find myself using it again and again - if not for the flowers, then certainly for the foliage pieces.  This set is a great addition to any die collection.

The flowers were cut in red, white and blue cardstock.  I inked the white layers with red and blue ink.  I then shaped the petals and assembled each flower, finishing off with a White Half Pearl for the center.  I then arranged the foliage pieces around the sentiment panel and then adhered the flowers over that.

My card is finished off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using ribbon from the Patriotic themed May Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The center of the bow is adorned with a Star Shaped Pearl Embellishment.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and happy crafting!

Love Pumpkin Carriage Card with Cheryl

1:30 AM 2 Comments

Hello crafty friends, Cheryl here from SweeetDesignsbyCheryl with a sweet card I designed for Cheery Lynn Designs using their darling dies. My inspiration for this card came from this super sweet design paper I found in my stash.  It was another scrap piece and it inspired me to use this darling pumpkin and carriage die, and several other Cheery Lynn dies as well.

To start, I cut and layered all my pieces and added my sewing to each. Then I cut out the pumpkin carriage die using a pink design paper and colored in the areas that are darker, like the wheels, stem, and all the greenery. Next I added some flower embellishments to the centers of the wheels.  These are from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I love how cute they look here. I did add some Stickles to the greenery and the stem.

Next I cut out my circle, nesting doll circle, and corners so I could do all my layering. I did add some glitter over the corners after my card was put together. The mice were colored with a grey Copic marker, and the little love tag I added another mouse to it, and stamped love with an SU! stamp. Lastly I made a double bow using ribbon and lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Faith, Hope & Love by Jenny Alia

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi friends!  It's Jenny here with you today on the blog.  I've been inspired lately by all the beautiful spring flowers.  These black eyed susan's usally appear later in the summer but I just love this die.  It always creates a stunning flower.  The centers were rolled between my fingers and I just glued the end.  The centers are probably only half the size of the one in the die but I used a lot of scrap paper to make the flowers and wasn't rolling a whole sheet through at once.  The shorter pieces worked well too.

The base card is a white 5.5inch  square.  I cut black and then cream card stock in 1/4 inch descending intervals to get the layers. The flowers were shaped with a stylus and molding mat.

Summer Floral Birthday Card with Bonnie Garby

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi Cheery Lynn fans.  Bonnie from Make Time to Craft here with you today sharing a bright and pretty floral birthday card I created with the lovely Cherry Blossom die from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I'm so ready from summer right now and there's nothing like a red, white and blue color palette to scream summer.  This color scheme works really well with the Cherry Blossom die, so I went with it.

Cheery Lynn Dies uses:

I cut the Cherry Blossom die in green, red and pink Distress ink paper.  I used the green as my base and then fussy cut the flowers in red and then the flower centers in pink and layered them to create the flower for the center medallion.  The background was created with the pretty Quatrefoil A2 frame 1 die which I also adore.
